I haven't done it as a civilain but it was part of the job when I was in the service. All I can say is it's one of the biggest rushes I've ever experienced.

I did... 15,000 foot tandem (I know tandem is lame, but i was broke at the time, and to take the classes was more $$$$, its better then static line anyways) I was 19, and i was a freshman in college, and my best friend and i were bored.. So we were like, lets go jump out of a plane!!!!!!!!!!

It was well worth it, No other feeling like it.. If a human could fly, that is the way you would feel.. It's not the stomach-nad falling feeling, its different.. then when you hit 120mph, You pull your chute, and everything gets silent..

I highly recomend it!!!!!!!!!! One of the best times you will ever have

My job affords me the opportunity to log about 5 jumps per month...I can usually only stand to do 2 per month..once you have done it so many times...the rush is still there...the doubt is still there (about the para riggers)..and your knees/back/ass will shot!

Did it in the service and occasionally as a civilian..My wife has even jumped with me on 5 occasions..And I can say it is still one hell of a rush..And yes, I do still WORRY MY ASS off until the chute deploys and I know I'm not going to plummet to my death..Everyone should try it at least once..

It's something I've always wanted to do. I've never had the huevos to look into it seriously, but I think my goal is to do it after I graduate (another 3.5 years)...just something to set my sights on and hold myself to it.

I want to try it and my girl does too, ive suggested it to her that we do it this summer but its not final yet, it would be a tandem jump.

How hard are the landings? My knees arent the best.

If you think normal skydiving is dangerious, one of my friends was an instructor in the Special Air Service (SAS), its like your navy seals, but one of their courses involves you jumping out of a plane with NO parachute, and you have to trust that the guy behind you is going to catch you, now that is crazy sh1t

But i havent done it, but i'd like to

For the life of me.....why in the world would you ever jump out of a perfectly good plane? If it's about to hit the ground then I can see jumping otherwise I'll wait till the captain turns off the fasten seatbelt light. hahahaha

It's on my list of things to do though...honestly. Just that when the moment comes when they jump.......I pedict a whole lot of crying......alot of pleading......then a fist fight ending with me going out the door with whoever in the hell finally pushes me out. That's just in the classroom! hahahaha
