Download a program that resizes images or makes thumbnails. There are tons of them out there.

Post your pics here and I or others can resize them for you...

Babyweight - in Photoshop, go to IMAGE >> IMAGE SIZE . Change the pixel dimensions so neither height or width exceeds 150 px. Also set at 72 dpi - make sure that when you set the dpi it doesn't adjust the pixels dimensions again - or you'll just simply have to just change it again. Also - very important that you leave "Contrain Porportions" (so you don't distort the image) and "Resample Image" (so it doesn't attempt to keep the same file size) boxes checked.

I tried and all I can do is change the 150 pixels on the height but it won't let me change the length which makes it look small. Maybe because it might distort the pic....I don't know... for some reason it just isnt working for me

It might look small because you just resized it to a much smaller file than the original (which you may have been viewing at only 25% on your screen). After you resize it, go to VIEW >> ACTUAL PIXELS and see if it looks like the correct size for your avatar. If it appears the same size as an avatar in your Internet browser - than your good to go... save it and upload it.
