    I hit glutes with a 20 guage today...

    it wasnt nearly as bad as i expected it to be... the needle looked huge in comparison to the usual 22 i use for glute shots. but it slid right in and I dont have any discomfort post shot.

    what's the lowest guage of needle you've hit a body part with?

    maybe I'll try 18 next time

    i've used the 22g...but that's as low as I'm willing to go. I don't see the need...and I don't mind the extra time for the added comfort of a 25g...

    18g? ya sick bastard! do what ya gotta do...

    are the 25's really that great comfort wise?

    the highest i've gone was 23 ... for the quads/delts.....

    22g is the largest I've used..........your wanting to use an 18g, can u say "scar tissue"?..........why not just take an 8 penny nail and gab it in ya ass?

    what my 20 ga or spywizard's 18?

    the 20 wasnt really all that bad at all....

    the spot bled quite a bit more afterwards but nothing really discomfort wise.

    18. You gotta push a little harder to pierce the skin. I normally use a 22 or 23 to inject. I can't draw up my gear with anything smaller than an 18. It takes to long. I definately don't have the patience to push ICN test through a 25 and I'm sure you couldn't even draw it up with anything smaller than a 22. I don't think there is any advantage to anything smaller than a 23. It takes forever to inject and I doubt there is less discomfort.

    I use 21 ggs. I feel that anything smaller does not allow the fluid to flow through easily. 21 gg lets it flow through without too much movement. No pain afterwards or the next day. An 18gg seems unnecassary. ouch.
