First you have to scan, download, take a picture, and get it in your computer. Once you choose one, go to the forum, click on "user cp" and then click on "edit options" , scroll all the way down to "Avatar", then click on "Change Avatar" then browse on your computer and find the pic you selected, make sure it is 120x120 pixels, any larger than that won't be possible. I shrunk my picture with Adobe Photoshop to make it fit and then saved it as gif. file.
