quick question
my computer has been running slow for a few days.. i just got a pop-up from my security software saying it has detected sypware installed on my computer tracking me. well i was going to download http://spybot.eon.net.au/
after i downloaded it it said choose a file to install it in.. now, do i choose any file and thats it or do i have to install it in each one? im kinda new to this kinda stuff so any help would be GREATLY appreciated. if there is anything else i need to know im all ears...

Choose a file or choose a directory? I think it is asking you where you would like to install the program. Just use the default and click next until it is done installing.

thanks bro, i already figured it out and ran it......... what a mess.
quite a few were listed as serious... seek seek was one of them.. whatever that is.

Sad part is spyware is almost unavoidable. Just a tip, I'd run spybot more then 1 time or until it comes up clean. Sometimes it takes a few scans to get everything. Good luck!
