I agree 100% ttgb. I could care less what the price of gas is. You gotta get around so if the cost of gas is too much get a small car, motorcycle or ride the bus. Gas is just a small part of the cost of owning a vehicle. Just my 2 cents.

My lightening gets about 8-12mpg, depending on how I drive it or if the ac is on, wouldn't trade it for the world. I feel like its your money and your life so if you value you it better put it something bigger than a freakin civic. I have had 2 major accidents where ambulances had to be called (none of which were my fault) and in both I was the one standing on the side of the road while the idiot driving the 4 banger gets loaded into the ambulance. These car companys keep building smaller and lighter cars while the speed limit continues to increase - am I the only one that sees a problem with this?

Sure I have the same outlook on gas. I dont bother looking at the prices but if doing one simple thing that I would do anyway can save me 10-20 dollars EVERYTIME I fill up my tank then Im gonna try it out. If Exxon is on one corner and Shell is on another corner, I can make that extra effort to drive past the intersection to the other gas station for a few odd months to see if it helps. 25 bucks extra a week on average equals 100 a month. Id rather have that hundy every month than a middle east gas co.

yeah I do still like to save money. Berm I was more talking to the guy about it serving someone right for not buying a station wagon...I wasn't intending for you to think my reply was towards you.
BTW...our speed limit here is 70. Just across the state line in Oklahoma it is 75 in some spots. Pretty cool!!!
peace,

Yeah. My reply wasnt really towards you either. It was just in general. Its 70 in Calif in some spots as well. I know there are other places. Im just typing crap and not really taking much of it into seriousness. I remember when 55 was the limit. **** how slow was that. 65 seems reasonable cause that means 70 is safe. A lot of people dont know how to drive period, let alone faster than 75.
