This guy isn't so bad, even though his views are too extreme for my taste. It's always good to think outside the box, and he did a decent job telling his side of the story. But someone above said it best...

It has always been this way... the people with the power make the rules..
The world is far from perfect.

As long as there are disagreements/conflicts of interest there will be war.

World peace is practically impossible, though hypothetically achievable.

The only thing I can do is play the cards I've been dealt and succeed in the environment I find myself in.

You can't spend all your time worrying about the world. Worry about yourself... and more importantly your source.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A Democratic lawmaker said Sunday he will introduce a bill in the next session of Congress to make military service mandatory.

    1) Ok . . .

    2) Then how do you account for this effort to push mandatory service? Or how do you account for my appreciation for "anything patriotic or manly?"

True, the spanish inquisition is a tell tale sign of humanity/christians, caught up in a fanatical state. But I don't see why islam can't change the way christianity did. They have been doing the same thing for 1500 years. Let's get with the time.

Yep, you sure did. Happens all the time . . . the more folks listen to me and read my writing, the more liberal they get. There's no way to stop it. The seed is planted . . . in a few months you'll be wearing bell bottom jeans with flowers and putting Ralph Nader bumper stickers all over town.

Actually, I agreed with you on a religious issue, not a political. But I don't totally disagree with liberal ideas anyway. Like i've said before, if something is not directly a result of the president, i'll defend them and since the current administration is republican and I defend, it makes me look right winged like no other, but i'm middle of the road. Hopefully, (I don't really care either way), but if kerry is elected and something screws him up and it isn't his fault, i'll be here defending him too.

because he doesnt believe that it will pass the way he will present it - its not his intention to help the military - but you notice that was more than a year ago and still no proposal - thats because old Rangle is too afraid that it might get out of his hands and pass in some form - uping the military budget - but I cant see how that is so bad for him since the military is on of hte best jobs his constituents can get due to the pathetic education system in NYC (thanks to teh lovely teachers unions)
