    I wish I discovered a vortex somewhere and then kept it's location a secret

    Only I would know about it. It would be in like the woods somewhere, far off the path so that people wouldn't often go there. Only myself and the surrounding flora and fauna would know about the vortex. When you jump into it, it takes the brave traveler of the space-time continuum (me) to a totally diferent dimension, where the laws of physics are completely different and it is ultimately only by chance that humans can survive for more than an instant in my dimension. The dimension would logically be named Nathan's Dimension and I would be the ruler of it, me and only me. Thus, I would then be better than the rest of you in not only this dimension, but also in Nathan's Dimension, therefore bringing the total number of dimensions in which I'm better than you to a whopping two.

    what if, upon discovery of this "Nathan's Dimension", the first time that the brave space-time continuum traveler (you) enters the vortex, he discovers that there is no possible way to come back to the original dimension? Stranger things have happened. I bet you didn't think of that...travel safe young Christopher Columbus....

    I don't get it. So is this like a seperate space or time dimension, or is it like a different universe like?

    If it's the latter, I hope it's Hubble constant is zero right before the moment you pop out of your little vortex thingy.

    i saw a 'for rent' sign on/outside/above/below/around the vortex that is adjacent to mine, so i'll contact my vortex broker and we'll get you set up.
