HIV curse on the Homosexuals

Was watching CNN news today. There was an interview with a priest that posted on his advertisement board in front of the church in those black bold letters. "HIV is the curse on Homosexuals". Apparently, this priest has an issue with the same sex marriage and wished to express it. If anyone has a link to an article be my guest and post it.

Do to bisexuals. When aids first hit the scene it was predominatly a homosexual disease, hell it was called GRID (gay related immune deficiency disorder). It had to cross over somehow and make its way to the higher classes. So yes... it was originally the "gay plague".

AIDS oroginated in Africa and while it was initially primarily gay men that contracted it in the USA the African epidemic is almost exclusively heterosexual.

They say AIDS came from a chimpanzee......i dont understand why people would think that African dude had sex with it. They say the most likely scenario is he hunted it and ate it afterwards. That hunter got himself some suprise.

No need for sex or eating it...

"They say" it came from someone having sex with a monkey because AIDS is a very frightning disease and some people will do anything to villify it and the people who get it.

I remember beingh thaught in HS biology back in the early 80's that a new disease had been discovered that affected only black men and some homosexuals. Or as my teacher had said "Only f*gs and ni*gers get this disease"... ahhh the good old private school Catholic brothers... fine teachers!

But think about it, AIDS (well HIV actually) is transmited by blood contact with an infected carrier... so can a monkey have AIDS? I don't doubt it... can a hunter in africa initiate blood contact while gutting a monkey he just killed? Heck yeah, find me a hunter who never got his hands covered in blood when gutting a large animal... the rest is simlpe logic... no need for monkey sex or eating raw monkey meat or whatever...

Sex with monkeys? I dont think so - eating a monkey? not very likely to pass it if cooked - being bitten by an infected monkey? - especially if there is a bloody fight as you kick the crap out of the monkey for biting you? much more likely

And just because it happens to have been predominately among homosexuals in the US certainly isnt much of an argument as Gods curse on them particularly - rather you might see it as the reprocussions of promiscuous sex - which a lot of the gay community (tho certainly not all) was and still is very active in - but there are MANY heteros as well who are super promiscuous and you have to figure that if you have slept with 200 people by the time you are 22 you are likely to gain the wages of your actions - not judgement perhaps so much as reprocussions for our own willful disobedience, many o which seem to be built into nature itself - ie, destroy the air and you pay for it with emphasyma

I did a term paper way back when and there is no real proven idea on how ther HIV virus ever got started. The monkey thing is one of them but it had to do with the green monkey and inporters of this breed into the states from Africa. It was said that it had bit a man and spread from there. By the way the guy that the monkey bit was not a homosexual. HIV was predominately involved with IV users and gays but the cases of heterosexulas was not a issue because of the media target to say it is a "gay" disease. heterosexuals were still acquiring the disease just the widespread of it was not accounted for untill today. As we learn today it is not just a "gay" disease or a "drug user" disease but it is a disease we all can acquire if we are not safe in our actions.

Why would anybody have unprotected sex nowadays? I don't get it...I'm no rocket scientist...but I'm smart enough to figure that one out. Especially if you are homosexual knowing that the disease has affected your way of life more than others...just doesn't make sense....oh well...

Another thing I would like to bring up is the Greek empire and their sexual behavior. Since they were openly sexual with both men and women and little boys. Wouldnt the greek dynasty be somewhat accountable for HIV.

This isn't true, in western countries anyways. 90% of HIV cases are homosexual males. Heterosexual females are the fastest increasing group, but it is still a very small proportion of HIV cases.
