Nudity

Personally I find nothing offensive with nudity and as long as avatars aren't sexually explicit I believe they are fine. It's a lot more offensive when an idiot gets on the board and says I can "suck" his "ass" and get away with that. It's not my board though and I did put that small minded individual on ignore. Pics of women in thongs and even showing a nipple should be OK. I understand there are younger people reading messages here but not so young as to never have seen nudity on film, print or the internet. I hope we don't get too carried away with censoring avatars. Partial nudity if not tasteless or obscene should be allowed.

i think this is one of the few if not only boards where there isnt a porn section or links allowed for porn..so thats kinda nice to know that AR sorta stands alone in that way...beautiful women are everywhere on the net, and the avatars are done tastefully but AR has chosen this route of cooling it and keeping the main focus on getting huge,cut and ripped safely....im cool with that..

Well I normally hate censorship in all its forms, plus I take the view 'Rules are for the obdience of fools and the guidence of wise men'. But being a Mod here, plus a member who signed up to agree with and follow the rules of this board I find myself having to go along with board policy regarding sexually explicit avatars. Of the few here that were changed I'd like to see the person who genuinely found them offensive. My only concern with allowing them to stay is that some idiot will push it that little bit too far and others will follow. to be honest there's one or two that I personally find lean towards being gay, and that offends me. But unfortunetely, given the times we live we, we the majority must bend to the minority. Its a pity, but thats the time we live in folks.

) If you want to see sexually explicit pictures, there are a million places for that. The administration made a call, and that is their prerogative.

Well, that is a great explanation. I never thought of it that way but it does make sense. My avatar is me from last year. I might not be the biggest and definately not cut but stiil proud of the transformation I made at that point. I hope to update it soon.

im personally against any and all censorship. every site has its own set of rules it holds and when you join you have to abide by them, doenst mean you cant bitch, just have to follow, we are losing our rights though, more and more each day, the revolution isnt so far away. eventually ppl wont take it.....(does that sound serious or what...lol)

I've got a hard drive chuck full of gay pix, I'm sure there's at least a few Cycleon would approve of . . .

The reason why I use Madelyn's pic is it's about the only one I have small enough to use as an avatar. Besides, she ain't all that bad looking for a 72 year old 6'2" diabetic atheist . . . Someday y'all's 72 year old wives will look just like that . . .
