hot tub after lifting
Lately i've been going in my hot tub at just soaking and enjoying the jets after a hard, intense workout. Does anyone know if this is a good or bad thing to be doing after a workout?

If anything, it'll relieve and relax your muscles. I would def. do it if I had one.

someone was talking to me about this yesterday.......He said that he gets into a hot tub an the after that gets into cold water because it gets all the lactic acid out of your body faster. Dont know how much truth is in this or not. I beleive Arnold did this too(correct me if im wrong)

I heard (and I don't know if it's true or not) that when you get in a hot tub after a workout, your blood vessels narrow (from the heat) and the blood flow consequently decreases, making recovery more difficult.
I sure would like to hear something to the contrary, because my club has a killer hot tub that I've avoided . . . .
