Got my first deaththreat at work tonight

Me and my partner had to restrain a guy and call the cops, we later heard that he went around town saying he was going to shoot to two of us...
Day #2 and im already mr popular hehe!

Two people have been killed in the last month here, one died from all the bouncers jumping on him and the other got thrown on his head and died two days later . the cops charged them all with manslaughter. But what can you
do when drunks attack :unsure:

There you go, good bit of advice there. Or next time knock him out, I don't know about there but here in Ireland a threat is the same as common assault in law. Never take a threat lightly.

Since he didnt speak the threats directly towards us we cant charge him, not without the witnesses and i have no idea who they were. But i will make sure that all the bouncers i work with hear of this and that they all keep an eye on him, he will not be let back in ever again, but i promise you he will try next weekend, then i think a beating is in order dont you?

Bouncer - I heard today that this guy is more mouth then action, but i wont turn my back on him. I know youve been working doors for a lifetime, any advice is welcomed.

I would consider that guy 'barred'.. Don't let him in, the next time he tries to enter the club, tell him to get fuked.. If he gets in, carry him out and use his head to open the fuking door, then drop him and tell him to get his fuking shine box ;) Depending on how much money he spends in the joint should tell if he is allowed a second chance, or not.. Personally, who ever gives me a death threat, drunk or sober will be smart enough not to show his face again.. Palme, tell him that the only way he can ever get back in, if he wants too, is by formally apoligizing to you and your crew, try not to laugh, its hard not too..

Seriously, the most important thing is: NEVER SECOND GUESS YOURSELF ABOUT ANYBODY, that job is common sense, if you feel an asshole should not be allowed in the club, you speak up - this is for you and your crews best interest, don't take it personal, keep the females coming in, and the bozos waiting in line..
