Man leaps to his death in vintage plane
Man leaps to his death in vinatge plane
USA TODAY AP
A California man recently diagnosed with a brain tumor leaped to his death from a vintage airplane he rented to mark his 88th birthday, officals in El Cajon said. Joseph Frost took off his saftey belt, stood up in the open cockpit of the two-seat biplane and went over the side Monday, despite the pilot's efforts to wrestle him back into the plane, officials said. The plane is simular to what Frost flew in World War II, said his son, Robert. "I think that was Dad's idea, to go out in a flash of glory."
END
Why am I both happy and sad for this old man ?
