Hmmm glad to see that im not the only one that thinks the world could use a nice big glass parking lot, but the problem with that is the spread of radiation to other places on that part of the continent. One of my good budies just got home, he was shot by a sniper over there but he was lucky and was wearing his body armor and is ok but is about to be shipped back over there. Dunno if i could handle that war over there, im about to sign with the marines, im just afraid of flipping out and killing a bunch of people if a firefight breaks out. I am studying political science at uni atm. All of the above posts are highly misinformed, no personal attacks or offence ment. But I think you have all missed the ideals behind these attacks. People, they dont want have come into their country (illegally) and "liberated" them. This has caused many things, porn, crime, drugs and lack of food. Pre american "liberation" they all had food, a house, jobs and it was almost crime free. I would like to say now that I dont agree with some of the inhumane **** that he did to the kurds! But do you guys think that by killing them it will solve the problem? Sorry, but no. It will add a oil reserve to the fire.
Also, with the mutilating of the bodies. Yes I find this dirty, but they have a completely different culture, they show the bodies proudly in the village. But what did america's TV stations do when they found the bodies of saddams son? Showed it over TV. Now you tell me, whats the difference? They are proud they killed some americans, you are proud because you killed some Iraqians. See the parallels?
No, this is NOT another vietnam. Why? Because this is almost entirely the "Coalition of the willing" fault, because they have implemented change too quickly, they are forcing the people of Iraq to give up the ideals and traditions they have had for their entire life.

You might see what is happening in Iraq as a good thing for them, women being able to dress as they want. But its happened too quickly, they need time to adapt.
