Hiding files with Windows XP
Okay so I had a file that I was goofing around with and I wanted to hide it. So I tryed to follow the directions that windows had laid out and nothing worked.
So I went to the file and the right clicked it. Then I selected properties and then went to click hidden as one of the options.
Now it is gone and I can't find it. Anyone know how to dig this up????
thanks in advance

I hate XP. I wish I knew computers so I could set up LINUX. Heard it is great but complicated. It is gonna give Windows a run for its money in the corporate world.
I hope so. Im tired of Bill Gates and his crappy products.

If you realy want to hide somting set up security so that only your user id has access to the folder that the files(om porn) is in. Securty for most home user versions of XP is dmbed down you can fix that in the control pannel. Also you can learn to use the cmd line program cacls. Also linux is prety easy to use know I have been using it since 96. You can dowload a full copy of red hat from ftp.redhat.com or one of its mirros

Windows MIllenium was a piece of trash. XP was a huge improvment for stability. I know a lot of poeple though who will not upgrade from 98 second edition.

Linux is great. My family uses my computer, otherwise I wouldn't even mess w/ XP.
Unfortunately, I don't think windows is going anywhere for a while, unless people finally decide to give MS the boot.
