Man, I was really hungry right? I had two pieces of bread ready, and I was gonna make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. So, I take one slice, and about to smear some peanut butter on it, and the KNIFE goes RIGHT through the bread, and it cuts a huge hole in the middle of it. And I wasn't able to make my peanut butter and jelly sandwish :cry:

Umm...seriously though, not sure. Lucky that recently not too much has gone bad health wise. But financial problems, do those count? Family is all fukked and broke n ****. Also, I almost died as a child (6 years old) cuz of getting ill, was in hospital, doctors told my parents I was hours away from dying. :eek:
I've been pretty lucky in my life...but a couple things are still kinda burning in my head...
having a relationship (my fiance at the time) fall apart months before we were supposed to get married, having to move across country by myself (when i was supposed to have a partner) and losing some friends in the process...and shortly thereafter finding out how much i was lied to, cheated on and manipulated...i had never been betrayed before, so this one stung the worst...
this all happened more or less at the same time, so it made me dig a little deeper to get through...
that being said, i still consider myself lucky that this is all i can say...others have it much harder...
Tough, I don't know. I fell out with a friend last year and hated the distance.
Without a doubt the most emotional thing I've went though was being present at the birth of my son. I suddenly burst out crying like a girl and couldn't stop. My daughter was magic too, but it didn't hit me like that.

career ending injury, projected top 2 rounds NHL draft pick... the injury was mono... yeah not cool at all, couldnt do **** about it. took me over a year to fully recover. my spleen was the size of a football sticking out of my stomach. by then my head was so messed i couldnt pull my **** together.. started worrying about school and what would happen if i couldnt play again. still fcuks with my head.. i was a bitter person for a long time.....
My father, grandfather and the dog i had for 12 years all died in the same month. My father died while my brother was still fairly young and I was left to act the part of parent for him. Just a punk in college who weeks before was concerned more about beer pong and what part of the cape to spend my summer at, I think i came up pretty short, and blamed myself for most of my bro's subsequent hardships, of which they were numerous and severe.
mine would have to be the birth of my kids. I have lost loved ones before, but to gain a loved one is pretty intense.
My training partner and best friend of 21 yrs (i'm 22) died suddenly at the beach on his off day from work, just dropped dead. i still can't deal with it, the day before we were planning to cycle together the next he was gone.....oh man.

i had something happen to me (i rather not say what but was life threatening) and i thought that was the worst untill my favorite person in the world left after 2 years. im still very depressed :(
i would have to say loosing my grandfather, its not like i cried at his funeral cuz i take after him in every which way and we are not emotional people, but its all good cuz my dad says every day he looks at me he sees my grandfather in me. its like he lives inside me
Intense Moment was seeing my daughter born..
Seeing her was the most intense and Happiest Day of my LIFE..
Visiting my sister on Xmas day, seeing her for the first time after a drug overdose that fried her brain. At on 22 years old. My parents and brothers didn't handle it to well.

I havent had any real emotional experience. Id say if a death in my immediate family occurred or if I found out my "future" wife was cheating on me. Other than that, I doubt anything other than a life threatening illness would get to me emotionally..
It's really a lot of things all combined at once. This all happened within 6 months....
I came down with lupus, lost my job because of it, got my house, car, and everything I owned repossessed, sold off all my stocks and such just to live, then my son was born and had multiple abnormalities....Pierre Roban syndrome, a cleft, messed up ribs, a perforated intestinal tract, had to be trached and put on oxygen, stayed in the hospital for 4 months and almost 5 years later still requires 24 hour supervision....
My one daughter has ADHD and ODD, the other has tourettes. My wife is a basket case, and I almost died from this lupus crap.

Nope, although I was treated for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from 1990-1991. but I try not to go back to that. I've been in combat since but I think my experiences in 1988 and then treatment have made me stronger for it.Quote:

I took this major massive dump that rose way above the water and almost touched my butthole and it smelled so bad paint started coming off the walls. When I had to finally flush that bastard I wept.
my dog dieing is about the most ive had to go through.
the toughest thing i went through was losing my mom when i was 11. pain never goes away
toughest would be, being cheated on then being depressed and maxing out my CC's to make me happy then having a miserable life for a year till my car got repoed and i filed bankruptcy, that was about 5 years and really changed me
Losing my house to fire.
Losing my second house too fire.....this one really hurt.
Best friend in HS killed himself.
Lost my grandfather who was like a father too me.
Dealing with an alcoholic wife and deciding when to end a 19 year marriage.
Oh, and I dropped a huge rock on my big toe and the nail popped right off......that I'll have to say was ****ed intense.
