How Do I Get Rid Of My Gear?

hey guys, just wondering what the best way is to throw out my gear and used pins. the reason i ask is because one of my friends went to jail for having stuff in his garbage(fingerprinted and all). i live in a apartment,so i don't know if i should worry about it or not. i thought about putting the stuff in a dumpster behind a department store or something.any suggestions?

i guess if you want empty vials and used pins thats cool, i have often wondered the same thing, last time i drove to a different city and dumped them in the dumpster, i store all of mine in a empty laundry detergent jug. i cant believe they fingerprinted him, thats crazy...

I do what Rickson does-I dispose of the needles & syringes seperately though, I bend the needles a bit...I don't want anyone getting poked by them especially kids.

i'd kinda like to hear the whole story about your buddy who got fingerprinted.....and how they found his bottles in his trash...you could do it in this thread, or start another one, but i think that it would be beneficial for many of us to hear

any hard plastic container- "like a protien jug" fill it up- then if at all possible take it by the hospital or clinic (helps if you know someone) find out where the biohazard disposal is and dump it... this is by far the most responsible way you can get rid of them

he didn't get finger printed,but his bottles and syringes did! i also had another friend get busted for selling weed because they found baggies with stems and seeds in his trash.never trust garbage men.this was when i lived in florida in the orlando area.

Same as Rickson, except use that spray foam insulation that hardens to a solid....that way nobody is going to get poked or bother trying to break it all apart to get anything out of there.

That's a **** fine idea.

... however I just throw 'em in a protein tub. Any kid who's playing in the dumpster needs to get poked.. maybe the parent too.

your friends seem a little careless about hiding their illegal activity. I am sorry they got busted, that truly sucks, but now ou know to cover your tracks.

you could put them into those single serve chocolate milk containers. I would put vials in a bag and stomp on them til they are flat. if you are super paranoid get goo gone and take the labels off first.

Wow, thats alotta work to get rid of ur gear boys. I peel of the labels and smash the bottles and put them in the recycling (no label n no prints) and leave the caps on all my pins and wrap them in toilet paper and a plastic bag and toss'em.

I throw my used darts out after each injection. I wrap them very good with duct tape and chuck them in the garbage. I also live in an apt building and we have a garbage shoot that goes into a compactor.

I'll probably put them inside a plastic container, tape it shut good and throw them in a random dumpster, different one every time.

Your local walmart and some department stores have the pin jugs in the bathrooms if you really are concerned about disposing of sharps properly.

insulin pins are usually not 23 gauge.....Im sure that a nurse would notice the size difference

I'm pretty sure pharmacy’s sell sharps container. don't know where you would bring it once it's full.
Bet you could call a pharmacy and ask what people do with there full sharps containers.

You can wipe the bottles with alcohol to lose the prints and then throw them away( dont touch them again obviously). You live in an apartment. Just make sure you dont leave any venue with your gear. Venue meaning any bill stubs or pay stubbs. Separate your everyday trash and your gear. Just my .02

needles would have dna samples. i doubt they would go that far,but i figure i'll soak em in bleach anyways

Isn't this a repeat? Granted I have a lot less to despose of then the men, but I save all my large supplement bottles, seperate the needles from the syringes & make sure the cap is on super tight. Laundry detg. protein jugs are all good ideas.

I m quite lucky, in the UK we have needle exchange centres where we can get needles on all the **** we need to shoot. Its fully legal and cant get nicked for it.

(In the US) A dumpster that is used for more than one dewelling is considered to be "curtledge". This means it is the same as taking your trash can from your house and putting it at the street for pick up---no warrant needed to search because you have dissguarded it. I am a Bodyguard / PI and this is where I get some of my best evidence on cheating hubbies and wives. BE CAREFULL!!! I personally break my vials and melt the syringes with a lighter then toss them in the can at the gas station. Finding a vial in your trash is "probable cause" for a search warrant!!!

put the needles in a aluminum coke can or beer can twist it a little pull tab off the top drop in so it also makes a sound if shook throw in trash and pull label off the bottle and then bust in at end of cycle take all of your paper and burn it **** it must be a blast to see the trash detectives going through the garbage everyday. haha
