A question for the guru's

Yesterday I was buying some pins at the local ********** and anyway I was looking fot 23g 1.5" and she said all she has was 20g. My response was that it would hurt like ---- and the hole wolud be too big.

She was the pharmacist and said that she used to be a nurse and that she wouldn't use anything smaller for an oil based injectable (I have a script for Enanthate ) she said if you push it through that small of a pin that the emulsion would affect the molecular structure of the meds. Instead of flowing out it would be pushed out. That's the fist time I ever heard that one.

She even said for my size she would use a 20g on my delts, ouch!!!
Any of you brainiacs got some input?

geezus, tell her to take injection 2-4 tims per week with a 20g and get back to you. that is totally assinine

Thats a bunch of crap, please it will effect it at a molecular level. Was she trying to impress you, or was she at least cute?

She was trying to be helpful I think . I always go in with the gee how do I take this stuff so they don't get nosey. On HRT it's only 1 shot ea 2 weeks so that was what she was thinking about.

I still wonder if it is true though about the emulsion, trying to fit a baseball onto the cup on a green at a golf course kind of analagy

No I don't but I never want to assume anything.

If I remeber correctly it takes significantly more than a bit if pressure to break the chemical bonds...only then would a compound's molecular structure be altered. My understanding of chemistry is limited. Maybe a chemistry major can elabrorate on this one.

It's all good I've got a buch of 22 1.5" & 23 1" from PNP a few days ago I had to get those to get the syringes. I'll just replace them but I will use the big ones to withdrawl first.
