I just used expired gear, help!!

Just a half hour ago i just injected 1cc of expired test cypoinate (QV brand). AT first i did not even realize that it was expired. It expired in sept 04. Would i be OK from this any raise for concern???whats the worst that could happen? any help is appreciated

since this is may 04, i think you might be ok, or was that a typo.

It's fine, it may have lost a little potentcy. It's not like it turned into deadly poison , you'll be okay.

if your left hand starts shaking uncontrollably, your ears twich in a circular motion by themselves, and your right big toe gets unctontrollably hairy the next day, then ya i would be concerned.

It didn't lose anything.... it hasn't expired...sept 04???

Regardless...it would be o.k. for up to 6 to 12 months after expiration...it just looses it's potency after expiration. Not to worry!!

just fyi....compounds decompose at a CONSTANT rate (k..given constant conditions)...For MOST drugs expiration dates are just a guide for when the total composition of active ingredient falls below a certain predetermined percentage. For most drugs the FDA uses a 5% ish rule. However some drugs do decompose into harmful compouds i.e. tetracycline and sunlight makes a chemical that leads to falconi syndrome...test is not one of these compounds.

i get the feeling that some people think that after yada yada date something magical happens and their gear becomes worthless. When in all actuallity it becomes weaker every second after its created...

doctabig, your post has put me into a deep depression. I just talked to my source and i am trying to get him to overnight me one amp of freshmade test everyday so i only have the strongest gear available.

LMAO.....better yet...get some powder, store it in a pitch dark, moisture free vaccume. Then every morning get up and brew your own that way you dont waste all the gear lost in the mailing process....
