I only get about 5-6 hours nightly. I have to be up at 4:30 am every morning to go to work. I also have a wife and child that I have to spend time with. Any info would be helpful.

Best to get at least 7 if not 9. I can't hit it hard in the gym if I only get 5 or 6. I struggle if I only get 7.
Books,mags and some ppl will say you need to sleep 10 hrs a day.i say BS to that.I get 6-8 hrs sleep each night and grow like a bean.As long as your body gets the rest it needs,and your not lathargic all day.You'll grow bro.
I think it will depend on the person. Some people just require more sleep than others. However, good growth and recovery will require ample sleep.

Definitely just depends on the person. Some people simply need more sleep than others. I am one of them, I am no good without 8-9 hours.
im used to only getting 4-5 hours of sleep now...
dont forget you only grow in your sleep! more important that how much you sleep, is how much you eat right before you sleep. imagine going from 10:00 am to 6:00 eating nothing? no fun... ESPECIALLY if the only time of day you could grow was 10:00-6:00. get my drift?
when i am on, i lie in bed for 8 hours and sleep for 3, it f*cking sucks
grow when you sleep Bro - do anything you have to to get proper rest - or you are throwing money away IMO Rest and diet 2 most important things while off or on

wow, i don't sleep much. I think I get 6 on an average night. I don't set alarms or anything, I just automatically wake up after about 6 hours. I wish I could sleep more, it would fill some of this spare time I have :)

I agree 6-8hrs ed is fine but get at least that... Sleeping is your recovery time with out it you are not going to grow....Quote:
