I'm shooting prop ed and I hit the delts with a 23g 5/8 pin and im real sore the next day and it left a raised lump in both shoulders. It seems to me that the shot maybe didnt go deep enough? Im around 10% bf so I thought that 5/8 would be fine. Also if this is the case were the two shots wasted?

This sounds like it's your first delt hit. Don't worry, the first hit is always tender and raised. It just like a virgin. I would, however, go with a 1" for delts and leave the 5/8 for the bi's. I'm sure the next time will be easier.

There was nothing wrong with the shots you took.... Your fine. Your delt is just a little swollen.... it's not used to having AAS injected in it....

You can go to a 1" like mentioned above, and you could also use a smaller pin if you wanted... like a 25 gauge....

nice, this is the first time Ive used 5/8 for delts and I think Im gonna go back to the 1" just to be safe.
