Should I offer juice to one of my homies ?

I work out with some younger guys and some older guys.
Im about to hit 46 and my buddy is about to turn 51.

He is 50 yrs old, medium build 5'10" 185#. He smokes a pack a day and drinks prob. a half a case of beer a week + shots.

His good points are that he never misses a workout and in 3 months of lifting with me he is making impressive gains in strength (although not much mass).

He does not know that I and the other guys juice - only becasue there is no need to tell him. We dont shoot in front of him but he would be cool about it if he knew.

From a physiological age health factors point of view should I offer him a chance to do a TEST cycle or should I leave him alone ?

At his age and habits Im having doubts about suggesting it to him.

it shouldent hurt..lots of gues his age are on HRT..just dont go overboard

I would wait until he ask how you're growing, or ask if you are using..... but at this point I wouldn't.

One other thing he should be checked by a doc if he sart using

Yeah - I would get abaseline bloodwork done for him if he decided. I cant very well ask him for bloodwork without a reason so the whole decision will start with me telling him about juice.

Yeah he is noticing the dramatic Xformation - and he is asking WHY he is not growing like me. So far Ive told him cause hes a rookie and I have been big before.

Yeah the rule is, don't ask don't tell on this one. I think AAS's are great but I follow the rule. It is there for a reason. Protects your reputation and your freedom.

I would say no on the grounds that he smokes. Gotta get all the other stuff in order for more than 3 months IMO and the cigs gotta go cause they kill appetite big time. Don't get the calories, ya won't grow.

I agree with Chicamahomico, the fact that he smokes makes him a risk with high blood pressure already and it will rise even more on steroids . Unless he shows an interest why tell him?

Not to mention low HDL, high LDL and high triglycerides, pre-existing atheriosclerosis, pre-existing CAD. Smoking is bad, I am glad i quit!

Oh come on guys, you only live once, give the poor guy a chance, tell him what it is, how it works, and the risks and benifits and then let him make up his own mind. You could even suggest that he ask his doctor about HRT, he would probably be eligable for it at his age. For all you know he may already be wondering about you and your friends and just doesn't want to offend you by asking if you use. If nobody gave any of you guys a chance either where would you be right now?

Ditto, I wouldn't tell my best freind or anyone else, just invites trouble, next thing he has told his g/f or wife and she tells her friends, etc. I was interested in AS at age 32 and I had done some weight lifting of some kind since age 15. I came to this site and figured it out for myself even though I have some friends who have used. I didn't approach them about it. Maybe point him to AR for supplement and workout advice and let him wander into the steroid forum on his own.

i'd agree with the guys who say wait for him to ask, if you openly tell people what you're doing, they tell others and it all comes back to you and causes you unwanted hassle, i mean it might not happen...but it could, you know how people are, you try to help someone and they tell others etc
