Quick question about scar tissue .

Once it is formed , does scar tissue remain in your (delt,leg,glute,...) or does it subside after a periode of time ?

its not going anywhere until you get it cut out (unfortunately)

i know, after a little over a year i couldnt stand it anymore and went to some doctors, who all agreed its permanent. So i got it cut out and have a scar now where I used to have a golf ball sized knot!!

Can I ask what’s the point of cutting it out when it creates a bigger scar tissue

    thats not true-

scar tissue from injecting into the same are too frequently usually means layers and layers of tissue are forming on top of each other which becomes somewhat of a "mass". The surgeon cut that mass out of my shoulder and stiched me back up, now there is no mass just a scar that for the most part is flat, very slightly raised cause its a nice size scar but DEF NOT a golf ball looking mass anymore.

i guess surgery depends on the severity of the mass/scar tissue someone has, in my case it was a no brainer, a visible scar or a visible mass, i chose the scar
