hah this actually brings back memory's. i always used to play the same song everytime before i hit a lift in my pl meets.it made me flip like a light switch on each one too. was the first 30 seconds of stabbing westwards "what do i have to do", then i'd immediatly shut it off right before his voice kicked in just cuzz i dont like the rest of the song.kinda made me feel like a machine, thats what put my in the right frame of mind.

but the best cd is just a compilation of new/old sevendust.they always got me goin

Try some Sepultura or Soulfly. Same lead singer, diffrent band members. They have a heavy punk/metal sound with some tribal influences in there. Some of the best workout music IMO. Also, you can't go wrong with Rage, NIN, Tool, Chili Peps (old stuff), Metallica (old stuff), Whit Zombie/Rob Zombie (old stuff), Korn, Sevendust, System of a Down, just to name a few.

Listen to some country. It'll really get you fired up mad (if you dislike it) so you can throw around those heavy weights.

There was a death metal band in the 80's called Gorgorath or something like that from Europe. There lead singer blew his head off with a gun and the guitarist found him dead so he took his brain chunks and put them in a pot of stew and ate them and kept the rest of the head at his house. Those guys are too much for me. It was on VH1s 100 most metal moments.
