    immune system while on a cycle?

    hey bros i heard along time ago that people on roids tend to get sick faster....is that true?....if it is why does that happen is there something with roids that suppress the immune system?

    I always feel AWESOME on cycle. Now there is a such a thing as test flu, but that isnt because of a weak immune system.

    while i have been on this board i havent heard anything like what im saying, but i remember hearing it somewhere and it just popped into my head so i should ask.

    i've always heard they usually boost your immune system, especially deca . i don't have any back up on that though

    Bodybuilders in general are more susceptible to upper respiratory infections. I think It was published in the the New England journal of medicine a few years back. When I'm on I seem to shake infections and viruses much more quickly. There is an increase in the killer-T cells. This is why it is good to treat people with AIDS related symptoms with deca or test. I'm not a Dr., but I'm getting ready to start the PA program

    AAS, in general, skew the immune system (icreasing Th2 immunity at the expense of Th1), which basically means that you're more susceptible to viral infections, but less susceptible to common bacterial infections (oversimplified).
