    Why preload needles?

What is the purpose of preloading your needles a day or two before using them?

That's the dumbest idea I've heard ( i dont think dumbest is even a word)

Do you see doctors and nurses, carrying loaded syringes around? they'd get their asses sued, very unsterile

Much more sterile than leaving the other half of the gear in an opened amp. As long as the needle is capped, you're fine as far as sterility goes. You never shoot with the needle you drew with anyway.

Agreed........... with amps that I will not use in one syringe I will pre-load...... and 2 weeks ago when I was moving..... I pre-loaded so i was doing it that day we moved.

Preload to save time. I know I like to wait till after a shower and sometimes that's right before work. I run late every now and again and last thing I'm gonna do is not inject. Therefore rather than be late for work I've started leaving 1 or 2 preloaded ones ready for those occasions. I draw and recap and switch needles right before it gets used. I wouldn't leave one loaded for more than a week though.
