Injection Question

I started my first injectable cycle of Winstrol a week and 1/2 ago. I am a female, 5'7, 125 lbs, 19% bf.
I have been using a 25 gauge 1" needle and have been injecting it in my butt which has been fine. I injected it in my leg for the first time the other day and felt it go into my skin and then I felt another pop into the muscle. I never feel this in my butt. Is it still going into the muscle even though I don't feel that second "pop"? A friend told me it was fine that I have a small butt and that he dosn't feel that second pop in his butt either. Any remarks are appreciated! Thanks!

I never shot in my quad. However I do agree, sinking a pin in to your butt is like putting it in a sponge.
