Nilevar and bone growth
In 1958 or so, when I was about 14 years old, I took Nilevar from a doctor as an experimental way to help increase my height. Guided by xrays of my wrist he was able to determine the ratio of bone joint closing with bone lengthening. Nilevar was supposed to retard bone joint closing and therefore allow me not to grow "faster" but for a longer period of time and therefore "taller". It seemed to work. I took a pill daily for almost a year. I have no idea of the strength. Several years later I developed abnormal growth in mammary tissue which I had removed. Otherwise no discernable side-effects. Is there anybody out there who used Nilevar for this purpose? And is there anybody who had this or other side-effects?
