    Injecting protocol ?

Just wondering of those that inject how many of you Aspirate before you inject? And secondly, do you change the needle(pin) before you shoot? Escpecially if you mix more than one as the needle can dull when going thru the rubber stoppers. May be easier & less painfull if your site is delts, pecs, tri's, lats. Just your thoughts anyone?

always aspirate . Last week I hit two veins in a row in my quad, boy was I pissed to go through 6 needles for one shot (3 to draw/3 to shoot). I couldn't believe it.

What's the score on using the same needle time and time again to draw and then switching to a new one to inject? Is it unhygenic?

As soon as that needle hits the air it is no longer in a sterile environment. Best to use it once and get new. Needles are cheep. Anti-biotics and explaining to your doctor why you have an infection from injecting yourself is no fun.

you have to aspirate - otherwise you could be injecting directly into a vein. If I hit a vein, I just jab the same needle in somewhere else where I've rubbed with alcohol. Apart from that, I never use the needle twice - it's contaminated. You have no idea how many microscopic orgs are running around out there!
