Re-use pins for drawing?
Anyone know if it is okay to reuse a pin if it is just used to draw from vials? Down to my last new pin and have plenty of the ones I have used to draw with. Just not sure if it will dirty up my gear and cause an infection.

I get them for free I just didn't notice I was out. I am a dumbsh*t! So what we are saying is not to use a pin again even if it is just to draw from the vials. I have one new one to inject with.

I use the same 18g needle to draw, but always use a new 25 or 23 to inject. I would say I only use the 18g for about 2 weeks, then use a new one. never had a problem.

Under such circumstances I would rather draw and inject with the fresh pin. If you are careful you won't damage the needle tip too much and a little pain as the needle goes in is better than an abcess requiring surgery.
If you decide to use one of your old pins to draw your gear I suggest you boil it first.

I don't understand you guys. Even if you're homebrewing a good cycle w/ pct is gonna cost you 100-200$. And for those of you that buy from sources 500$-1000$ isn't anything to bat an eye @. Ywet you take the risk of infections by trying to save a few pennies and reusing the same needle. A new needle everyday for a year is gonna run you a bout 30$ max.If you can't afford new pinz or don't feel like using fresh ones then why even bother w/ alchol to clean the skin. I mean you could save 3 cents a day doing that. That's 10$ a year. WOW Why take the chance @ all. I guess to each their own.

The residue in the old drawing needle can grow bacteria!!! If you have to use the same pin again atleast draw alchol through it and rinse it with water. Draw water up into it and push it out. But I personally wouldnt do it. Ill use a 1 1/2 inch 18g before I would try to steralize a old pin. When you are into all this **** you should have supplies on hand I have 10cc syringes 60cc syringes, whatman filters just incase I need to do something unexpected. I got anything from a 18 1 1/2 to 25g 1 inch and everything inbetween. I personally use 3/4 inch 18g for drawing the sloution.

Then inject w/ it if you're so spent on saving 8 cents

Aren't you worried about the drawing needle contaminating your gear? I use a new 18g every time I draw, why not its a couple bucks for 100 needles only at GPZ.

pins are to cheap to risk gettting a infection even if you are just using them to draw with. I would definetly get extra pins to draw with IMO. good luck with it.
