Is your caloric intake high enough?
Are you taking Dbol's by themselves? I hope not, unless you want to gain and lose it all!
What does awhile mean? DAys weeks, months?
What doses? 5 mg/day 40mg or more
How much do you eat?
Are you training regularly?
What kind of strength gains are we talking about? I hope that you dont think that you will double your strenght.
Just some questions to better help you get some answers.

Thats 40mgs /day more than ample. Im on it now as a kick starter gained 4lbs in 1 wk & only at 15mgs.. All water.. stacking now @ 30mgs with tren/test p gained 8lbs . im sure more water but that is going to go away I hope in 2 more weeks. At any rate my guess is 40mgs you SHOULD of had some wieght increase. But dont know why because of diet,training ect. What else are you taking or planning?? You cannot expect miracles overnight just give it some time. If you do not see anything by wk 3 my guess is you have bunk.
you need to be a bit more specific with your question bro....
hmm by the question im gonna guess he is doing dbol only:| and 40mg/s is quite a heavy dose for a 1st cycle imo
