Moderator arrested! How safe are the members of the boards?

received an email from Elitefitness.com saying that Jason Cholewa was arrested. My question now is, how safe is to post AAS questions in here now & in bodybuilding.com(where he was a moderator)?

I assume you can get the "DEA" to come and search your house just for asking few questions in a board!

What is the worst it can happen if you ask questions about how to properly use AAS?

The DEA isn't going to waste any time getting search warrent just because you post questions on the board............ Plus they would need some sort of evidence that you are involved with dealing AAS before the court would issue the warrent.

But you should be safe no matter what you're doing....... keep a clean house and you have nothing to worry about

i knew that there was more to it than posting on a board....im not a legal expert, but i dont think that its illegal to even say that you have used drugs....you see celebrities talk about drug addictions on tv interviews all the time and you dont hear about them getting arrested...JMO

DEA is well aware of our board and many others and they are not so stupid as to believe that all is theoretical on all the boards - but talking about using steroids is not a criminal offence - all of it is worthless unless they have physical evidence to tie it to - then it is a problem but you are screwed by then anyway because they have already busted you - this mostly refers to sources anyway or people busted in a controlled delivery

Im not sure what the law states in the USA but here it is not illegal to use or posses AAS only supply.So there is no problem educating yourself about it

Hey Nocturno, you have nothing to worry about unless you are selling ****. Or stock piling it. The gov't is not worried about small time ****. That is just a slap on the wrist. And I think one of the things that probably contributed to BigRed being busted is that it was said he was also selling valium. And more than likely, someone dropped the dime on him, to lessen their own punishment. That is usually the way it works. They squeeze a punk and he rats!

They can definitely use the posts against you in a case. They can definitely not use them to get a search warrant though.

Just keep everything 'virtual', dont give anyone your real info or anything about your job or life, ask questions or give help to others, no need to get personal publicly or else DEA starts knowing who u are! In order to obtain a warrant police would literally have to make a buy off you or have drug dogs outside your house that could verify their suspicions (not even sure if this is possible with steroids ). The DEA could care less about people who use steroids but are a lot more interested in those who sell.
