PCT is it really needed?

I am on day two of my PCT consisting of clomid at 300/100/50 for 21 days. Question is one of my sources who has been in the game for about 25 years say that it does not work and is not needed and you can keep most of your gains if you drop your dosage to 100-150mg of test every 10 days for about a month to month and a half. He deals to alot of competive bodybuilders and I myself am just a recreational user ( most of his guys stay on year round taking minimal breaks and I perfer to do a 12 week cycle and then go off for 12 weeks). I told him that I would only do the low test shots every ten days if I was going to bridge into another cycle. He told me that was bunk and it will work to keep gains. What do you think?

Unfortunatley your source there knows less than you do. Everything you said you do compared to what he does is correct and better than what he's doing. Keep up what you're doing.

if you want to stay not to big, then dont do pct, what kind of test are you running, every 10 days is to far apart, and how many mgs

I agree, thats funny as h^^l bro. Seriously though, PCT DOES work and YES you need it in my opinion. But you dont need 300 ED. Do a search for either Mudmans or Pheedno's pct and go from there.

PCT kicks back in your natural test production at a very accelerated rate. Staying on low doses will not help, you will remain shut down until you stop and then with no help you will have very low test for a long time and lose many of your gains.

Even at a low dose your natural test is still shut down, so tapering off does not re-stimulate your natural test production. That is why it doesnt work.

I agree with everyone saying the 300mg 1st isn't necassary.

If you gonna have no PCT you will be unable to keep you gains. You will lose everything.
