BD no doubt.
terumo for slin pinz
Terumo seem smoother, but BD have the larger/wider "stop" for leverage when pushing the plunger
terumo pins seem to personally hurt less, i think they're sharper or something, cause when i started using them my shots were even more painless-
BUT the terumo plungers seem to have "sticky" points...they get stuck sometimes after i have them pulled back and want to start pushing forward.
so ideally you'd have a terumo pin on a BD plunger
thanks guys, I'v decided to order the BD. The only reason is I use terumo now and just wish to compare myself. peace
I've always like B-D better...
i use either, using terumo atm though :)
BD is easier to use, bigger stopper and handles..
This question was about the needles, not the syringes right?
I think BD syringes are fine, but I will never buy another one of their needles! I got two bad batches that required the use of a file and a hammer to get them into the skin. You could then feel the tips plowing through the muscle...no thank you. I ordered some Terumo pins and have never looked back. They are always sharp and reliable.
Terumo all the way and not just because of the price either

can you put terumo pins on bd syringes without a problem?
i am pretty sure you can they are probably all interchangeable
a needle is a needle, sharp and pointy
i like terumo... of couse it's all i've used lol
You better believe it. I am doing that twice a day right now.;)Quote:

Terumo all the way.. BD are not to sharp and hurt..
Well after hearing more what you guys said perhaps I will get half & half. That way I can intimately inspect each. I also will examine the tips of the needle themselves with a magnifier. Take back to back injections & hopefully can make a intelligent decision. I will post my findings soon...
:roflol: Ya ive used the same pin for at least 4 months now! :lol:Quote:

good idea... you could always use the bd syringes to draw out and then exchange them with a terumo to inject..Quote:
