    Numb injection site

    I just shot in my thigh.(1st thigh, i've been doing delts and glutes) Immediately after I finished I noticed a ruptured-looking type blood vessel about 2 inches below the injection site. (About 20 mins ago). Now a pretty significant (maybe 3 inch diameter) circle around the injection site is numb.

    I'm not worried about a medical prob, I'm just concerned I didn't get the gear into the muscle well. Did I miss or something? I used 25g 1" needle.

    Never heard of that happening. It's not right at the injection site? Most numbness is caused by hitting a nerve but I don't know in this case.

    No the numbness is right at the injection site, but the busted blood vessel is 2 inches down.

    don't know whats up with the numbness but if you put the pin in all the way, aspirated, and injected, then i'm sure its in. did you put the injection into the vastus lateralis?
