    injections: FLEXED vs. UNFLEXED

I was just visiting this Spot injection site and noticed that the big guy took all his injection in what appears to be total flexion of each site injection.. So would I get better results by flexing during injection.. And this asperation stuff.. haha I've not recall ever doing it.. i heard i was only suppose to do that during Quad injections.. so i slightly pull back on the syringe as if i were gonna draw out some muscle and if i see air bubbles im good to inject.. does that mean i have air in my muscles?.. Sorry everybody ya'll see that Newbie under my name.. well thats what i am.. only took like 6 shots so far 4 in delts and 2 in biceps.. somebody give me some good ol' Expert advice please

why would you want to tighten up a muscle while injecting anything into it ?? you want to be as relaxed as possible.

would you rather hammer a nail into a sponge or a piece of wood ??

FYI - i only aspirate on quad injects - and that's not even all the time.

Ive always heard that youre sposeta flex, could be wrong. Also pull back on the skin when you do it, then when you pull the needle out the holes dont match up in the layers of skin and sauce dont come out. Yes you should draw out when the pin is in the muscle to ensure youre not injecting into a vien or artery. If you see blood, pull out and find a new spot. Ive never heard of air bubbles, but I know blood is a bad sign. Pull out a bit, if no blood, then blaze it up.

EDIT: I see I was wrong about flexing when injecting. Learn somthing new here everyday.

Unflexed. You were probably advised to do that during quad injects because they are vein and nerve loaded and it's important to do them there. The glutes are not as necessary but it should be done there. Simple reason why is why not. You have it right on how to aspirate . You don't have air in your muscles. It's the pressure making the air expand in the syringe. Start aspirating and do it everytime from here on out. Do a search on it and you shoul dfind some horror stories.

if you flex fully then it will hurt more and you risk breaking the needle, you should always relax, your injecting into the same thing so why shoudl it make a difference? jus go with relaxed and sav yourself a trip to the hospital

that guys just big. you really think he's flexing there ?

    if he was flexing......
    - more head on the tricep
    - peak with arm bent on the bicep
    - more striations on the quad

i still say he's not. check out the veins in his arms and the front of his legs. sure he's up on his toe a little, but nothing much to where it's flexed.

no chance. low body fat on this guy ?? doubt it (no offense if it's anyone on here). i'd say it's a bigger guy - someone like mass's size, maybe a little bit smaller.

Yeah, this guys chubby compared to say the guy in the attached pics above. I was saying this guy looks like he's flexing and the others looked jacked with low bf for the most part. Do you pick up what I'm putting down? Mostly the last pic too, look at the way his bi head is raised right up compared to the picture above. And his wrist position.

So is the off season looking guy in the pics I attached just holding his bi in a position that looks flexed, or did you mean you shot just the other guy's pictures?

Flex your muscle, find the most elevated spot, relax it and then jam it in there.

Defenitely not flexed. I think the reason why some of the spotinjections.com pics show the muscle as flexed while injecting is to show excatly where to inject around the muscle, as you can see the muscle more when its flexed. But like I said, you dont wanna have a jab while the muscle is flexed.
