I'm about 188 lbs. as of right now, but I would like to be around 195 lbs. I have always heard that peanut butter will put on weight but I know it contains alot of fat. Is a good way to gain weight?

you should post this in the nutrition forum, but,its good to eat moderate amounts of peanut butter in the AM. Your body needs some fat in the Am when you wake up.Quote:

Why is this in this forum BTW?

There isn't enough anabolic properties in 'peanut butter' to bulk up :)
Worng forum, but to answer your question, pb is okay to have in between meals, but protein shakes with a good amt of olive oil in it is even better. 4 K cals will make you grow. Just try to keep the cals mostly clean if want don't want to get too "soft."
Wrong forum but, peanut butter is a GREAT source IF IT'S THE RIGHT KIND! If you want the extra fat, sodium, sugars ,partially hydrogenated oils then buy some skippy, jif, resses. YOU MUST BUY ALL NATURAL WHICH WILL HAVE ALL THE GOOD OILS FLOATING ON TOP. You need to mix it before you use it.
WRONG FORUM...have him shot...
