spot injection?

If I injected through a vein (as in stuck the pin through the vein and injected in the muscle behind it) would it take longer for that area to heal? I injected in myu chest last Wednesday and my right pec is totally heal but my left on eis totally healed except for a long line that is a quarter inch in diameter and the entirewidth of my chest. I'm pretty sure its not an infection cause it isn't red, swollen or hot to the touch. It just has this hard spot that hurts when I stretch or flex. Has this happened to anybody before.
