stretch before and after your chest workout
see if that helps w/ soreness.

how many days a week are you doing chest?

how long have you been doing chest like this and feeling sore?

right now i'm natural (but not for long hehehe...) and after a good hard chest workout, it's sore for at least 2-3 days...just gotta make sure u take in proper amount of nutrition (protein, carbs etc.) vitamins, and get enough sleep and the soreness should subside

ps...if you are working your chest out more than once a week, i would stop...give your chest at least 5 days to recover if it is that sore

I do stretch but maybe im not doing it enough. I hit chest on Mondays just once a week. Been working out for 1 1/2 years and it always seems to be sore everytime. None of any of my other body parts get sore like that.

Nah, I switch up my workouts every couple months looking to get sore, cause that way I feel like I really work my muscles. Glutamine becomes your best friend though, when it comes to muscle recovery

IT'S NORMAL BRO...i always get that pain for about 4 days i only hit it once a week....and they grow...just ask yourself this question.."is my chest and strenght getting bigger or staying the same.." if they are the same you are over training if they are gettin' bigger!!! GOOD JOB....

as for your other body parts not getting sore...i used to say the same..then I swiched training partners to someone a little more intense and that pushes me...now that soreness is everywhere even my triceps which i had never felt sore before...you are most likely training alone?!?!?right?!?!?

thanks big zues, yes im working out alone. How much should someone my size be lifting. my last set is usually 185 4-5 times. I have gone up from 125-130 pounds to 160 to 165 pounds in just over a year.

Being sore always puts a smile on my face.

    Go by llbeast's quote

    Destroy the muscle
    Feed the Muscle
    Rest the Muscle
    Repeat

If you can do that properly for an extended amount of time, you will get big...trust me. It works.

Im 30 now and ever since high school my weight was around 130 pounds and no matter how much I ate I could not gain.
