    Pain Killers And Juice

I am about to start my next cycle here in the next couple days. However i am still taking Hydrocodone and Oxycodone for a knee injury i had a while ago. I do not take them in obscene doses but it is on a daily basis.

Any experience/knowledge or advice with pain killers while on cycle?

Hey bro thats a good question. Ive been in the same postion before and you should definetely wait at least two weeks before starting that cycle. When taking schedule two and three narcotics such as those there are a few side effects such as lack of motivation loss of appetite and flu like symptoms. Keep pumping and sweat that garbage out first. Good Luck

I would suggest strength training first....why try to damage the knee more by pushing through the pain? If you need narcotics daily, you're not ready for heavy training IMO....high risk of re-injury.

I completely agree. The AAS will do little for connective tissue and may make the problem worse with rapid increases in strength and muscle size (possible to even choke weak connective tissue - albeit a rarity) while "on"... and you won't know how bad you are messin' it up cuz of the pain killers...

You should be at 100% before using AAS...

Pain killers are very hard on your liver... I know first hand
and know alot of others that have had problems... If you
were for example using 17AA orals with pain meds you are
asking for serious problems... don't do it... You could get
away with using test since that doesn't really hit your liver,
but why not wait until your injury heals and you don't need
to worry about it at all? Or is this a nagging injury that won't
    go away without surgery?

lol.. ok its not that i NEED the pain killers by any means.. i take them at bed time almost recreationally..

I have been training with my knee for quite some time. (injured in december) been training it hard for over 3 months...

Just take the drugs at night time to help induce sleep

But i appreciate the feedback from BUFF87.. i will go ahead and stop use just to protect my liver.. and start my cycle with out the pain killers..

the hell with them percs and vics. id get rid of them and get some oc's, crush them up and take them to the face. really though i did it before but id never recommend anyone mix painpills that are already liver toxic with roids. espacially orals.

i take about 90 percocet (Oxycodone)/month. the "pain killers" are not hard on you liver. the part that is hard on you liver is something nearly everybody takes for headaches anyway, and that is Tylanol. however, i have done extencive research on this subject and have found that you can safely take 4000mg per day without any liver damage. long term or short term. the amount of tylanol in each pil is the last # in the scriot. (ie: 10/325 which would be 10mg of oxycodone and 325mg of tylanol).

the rules for taking percocet are nearly the same as for orals. first off no drinking. that is very bad on your liver. secondly if you are worried about liver damage then take about 1000mg of milk thistle ED.

now combinding the two would put you at a higher rish for liver probs, but to date i have had no such probs. and will continue to take both AAS and my little yellow friend known as PERCOCET.

Percocets are fun, but also highly addictive. It sounds like you are just using them at bedtime to induce sleep. I would recommend against this. Using narcotics to fall asleep isn't a healthy habit if continued for a long period of time. If you are having trouble falling asleep, try a sleeping aid or something non-narcotic. I really enjoyed being on percocets while I suffered from intercostal muscle tears, but I can attest to their addictive nature. While it is safer than many street drugs (imo), it is still not something I see as being complimentary to a training regiment or beneficial in any way, other than to get you high.

Just be careful not to get addicted to those things. Very bad here in KY. So many deaths due to painkiller addiction.
