I'm thinking about getting some Ephedra powder and capping my own, I was just curious what the daily dose is typically?
25mg twice a day with last dose taken at ruffly 3:30-4:30 depending on how early you like going to bed, if I am not mistaken they are they the same supp. eph has about 6 different names all for the same thing.
I thought Ephedrine and Ephedra (Mau Jhuang sp?) were different....... well from the same source just a different chemical and different dosages.
same dose and basicly same chemical. Does the same thing and has the same half life. Don't worry its the same thing. just like Psudophedrine(sp?) its all the same thing, same dose.

I'm not so sure about that, I think you may find that ephedra is ma huang - the raw ingredient that ephedrine is extracted from, I could be wrong mind you...
ephedra is different than ephedrine! if u want to make a similar ratio with ephedra, u have to check the ephedra alchaloids... u shoud find something like... standardized (sorry for spelling) at... or something.
for expemple, if your ephedra extracts is standardised at 10% it means that to get 30mg of ephedra alchaloides, u have to take 300mg of ephedra extracts!
correct me if im wrong...
Fabry - That was my understanding as well, I didn't want to state it as fact in case he ended up necking 300mg ephedrine.
just be sure before doing stupid things!

i've used ephedra/ephedrine caps to add some energy to my workouts,, what i suggest u do is start with a low dose in the morning, and see how ur body reacts to it. if u don't feel the kick, then double the dose. u WANT to be able to sleep at night, which u won't if ur taking high doses or too late in the afternoon. also it suppresses appetite in some people, keep that in mind if you're trying to gain weight.
everybody reacts different man, just start low and see what's best for u.
Good post Bro...so ephedra is the plant as is ma huang...the psudoephedrine is also not the same thing as it is a sterioisomer or mirror image of ephedrine...but it does retain some of the same qualities...unlike cocaine where the sterioisomers won't do sh!t...Thanks for the post Fat Guy...Quote:
