when you pull back on the plunger of the needle to see if you are in a vein or not. if you pull back and there is blood then take it out and stick it in again.

Should you do this every time? I will be alternating Glutes...What are the chances I will hit a vein there? What happens if I didn't pull back to see and happened to hit a vein?
    Peace

Then you run the risk of shooting in your vein, and wasting your entire shot.

IT'S VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU ASPIRATE . LIKE SK SAID, IF YOU HIT A VEIN, OR VERY RARELY AN ARTERY, YOUR BODY WILL ABSORB IT TOO FAST. IT WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE HEART AND CAN BE EXTREMELY DETRIMENTAL TO YOUR HEALTH. ITS EASY TO ASPIRATE. JUST PULL BACK ON THE PLUNGER. YOU'LL MEET A LITTLE RESISTANCE AND YOU MAY SEE A FEW SMALL AIR BUBBLES, BUT IF THERES NO BLOOD, YOUR GOOD TO GO, BRO.
