    Aspirating on IM injections?

Just a quick note: I have always aspirated before injecting, however I have probably done over 700 IM injections and never seen any blood.

    Till Today!

While doing a routine injection in the glute of all places I was just getting ready to inject my 3mls of Tren /Deca /Masteron /Test when low and behold on aspiration there was a geyser of blood in the syringe body.

Just goes to show it pays to be safe.

If you had pushed it fast (like many do who use large needles), you would have been feeling pretty shitty for a bit...

One in 700 -- not bad. I wish I could say that! Glad you're being safe, FFM!

Wow in the glutes of all places eh.. Crazy. Way to stick with a good protocol. BTW sounds like a fun filled syringe!

I've had blood come up in a few aspirations for me. In about 6 years worth of cycling, i'd say i've had maybe 3 or 4 times where the syringe filled with blood. Not geyser-like, but it definitely came in when I pulled back on the plunger.

Its definitely a good idea but to be honest I forget to do it 9 out of 10 times.
