injections query (test/winny)

i have been using a 1" pin for my test.E for the last 8 weeks, but i have just been told that i need a 1 1/2" to ensure the shot is intra-muscular

my mate syas i've prob been missing the muscle and getting less than half the effect

is this true?
have i wasted 8 weeks of test?

i have also just started winny shots buit was told a 1" pin is ideal for winny cos its not supposed to be intramuscular
is this correct?

this is something i just read 5 seconds ago on this very page about 3/4 of the way down at (am i shooting into muscle or fat) any ways it talks about it being ok if you miss the muscle it will just take longer to absorb thats why they inj. ins. into fat because of the slower absorbtion rate.take a look.

It really depends on where you are shooting at and how much BF you have.

i was shooting in the gluteus maximus and noticed no pain the next day

but the other day, i hit near the hip (just below) - think its known as the gluteus medius
and i noticed a slight pain the next day

is the pain an indication of hitting the muscle?

my body fat is 12 - 14%

If your BF% is 12-14 you SHOULD be fine with a 1 inch glutes (don't go anything less than an inch though). If you are worried though, it wouldn't hurt to go with 1.5 inch in the glutes. My BF is around 10% and I shoot with a 1 inch in the glutes and have never had a problem wiht it.

yeah i will use 1.5 from now on

if i have done it properly - should i realistically be feeling some pain the next day?
