my doc knows as well as my endo, they are monitoring me during my current cycle!!
The doc has also been a close family friend... you should be able to tell how your doc will react, if you think he'll flip out and call the insurance co.... i wouldn't open my mouth!

I tell my doc everything, he can't help me or know what to look for if I am withholding information from him. I really don't think a doc can contact insurance to rat you out. There are the HIPPA privacy laws that protect you from that sort of thing.

I never tell anyone anything that has it written down on paper. Trust me when I say it can come around to bite you in your ass.
Always use the term, "Hypothetically speaking Doc, what if..."

Ever heard of Doctor/Patient confidentiality? The Doc cannot call your insurance company, or the cops for that matter, if you tell him you are using AAS. He could lose his license, or at least get reprimanded by the Medical Review Board (which is a major blemish on his record).
I do agree with Ronny though, don't let them write anything down, b/c if your records are seized for a criminal case then you are hosed.

I haven't told my DOC but I am very cool with a RN 2nd in command in the surgery room and she knows her $hit...She gives me all the shots on the glute every mon-thurs...its cool like that, as for telling your doc. ask him how is the personal info. disclaimer handled "patient confidentiallity"...if he says its him and you only then yeah, its cool to say
