    accidentally froze cyp - is it ruined?

    A friend of mine is a nurse and told me to keep multi-dose vials in the fridge. Well, the fridge got too cold and it was solid when I took it out. I also had some EQ in there, and that was still liquid.

    Did I just throw $200 down the toilet?

    Try reheating it in a bath of hot water... You want to make it hot
    Cyp has a melting point of about 215 degrees so boil some water
    and let it sit 10 mins or so... And no it does not need to go in the
    fridge to be stored just somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight

    No your Cyp is not ruined. Look for other threads about Cyp... Lately many people like you and me have Cyp crashed.
    Do what buff said and you'll be ok.

    It doesn't freeze, what happens is as the temp drops the hormone
    falls out of the solution and crashes which looks like crystals inside
    the vial...

    The same exact thing happened to my cypionate . It froze up or something. I will follow the advise from above. Hey Buff87 how long can it sit like this before it goes bad. Let me know.

    It shouldn't go bad at all as long as it was put in a sealed sterile vial...
    Only bad thing is many times gear that has crashed will cause more
    post injection pain as it also will crash quicker once injected...
    My guess is the Cyp did not have enuf BB to help keep it suspended
    or the melting point may have not been hit for long enuf to help the
    hormone suspend in the mix... I'd reheat and let it sit a week and
    see if it stays suspended, then it was probably just a problem with
    the melting point not being hit, if it still wants to crash I'd add 2% BB
    at a time and reheat until it stays suspended

    I was told from my boy who made it. It didn't have enough BB in it and thats why? He made a solution of 5% BB, instead of 6%

    wow, never knew that oil basec stuff would get solid, buf thanks for explaining what is actually happening, I never put my gear in the fridge, but I hear some people saying I should, I just keep it about room tempurature in a safe. Glad to know if it does freeze, its not deffinatly ruined.
