Ulcers and steroids...
Has anyone every heard of steroids causing ulcers? I am mid-cycle and the docs just said i have an ulcer. I am taking some meds for that, but the concern is whether or not I should stop the cycle b/c it might have a bad effect on the ulcer. Does anyone have any info regarding this stuff? Should I stop or continue?
Thanx.

sounds good. Just don't want to make it worse.
Also wasn't sure if the cycle had anything to do with me getting the ulcers.

umm i had an ulcer.. u have to stay away from orals or they will raise hell with your stomche. i dont see a problem with injectibles.. but the thing is ulcers are caused by stress... if ur putting stress on your body by juice it might worsen your problem. be careful.

Thx Joe. That is kinda what I was wondering. I have had a problem with heartburn for a long time and I notice when I work out I get a lot more acid going back and forth. I just don't want to make anything worse.
I keep an eye on it and see if it worsens or gets better.

I have pain just under my rib cage on my left side. I think that it is an ulcer and I am going to see a doc ASAP but it may also be a hernia or (I have no idea about these 2 just speculation) possibly kidney/liver??? I'm not sure where they are located...

Ulcers can be caused by a bacteria..."helobacteria Pylori"...(or something like that)...
antibiotics (1 or 2) with a proton pump inhibitor (like prevacid) are the prefered treatment..you maybe could have it all cleared up in about 10 days...good luck
