It's Toradol and it is an NSAID in injectable form - only relieves swelling and decreases pain - only time will heal you . Ice your back / Rest it / then start with light stretching after a little while go back to light sets with light weight then progress from there

Let me tell you from personal experience, the shot you got made you feel better, but did not heal you. The fact that you hurt it again probably means that you have some muscular or spinal condition that needs to be treated by a chiropractor or some other specialist, not a MD. I have spent years with back problems and I've improved dramatically with the right chiropractor and reflexology. I had a MD who pumped me full of cortisone and pain killers and I felt like a million bucks for a while, only to find out later after the drugs wore off that I had done a lot more damage to myself from training while injured. How long ago was your shot, bro?

Bro, the drug you are talking about is toradal. It is in the family of drugs none as N.S.A.I.D 's This stands for non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This is the same class as Naproxen, Motrin(Ibuprofen), Indomethacin, Celebrex, and the recently pulled Vioxx. When taken parentaly ie;IM inj or IV it has almost the same pain relieving ability as 10mg Morphine. This drug in its oral form is very expensive and is about 1/3 as effective. This drug is only supposed to be used for 5 days or less due to liver toxcicity. Ask yor Dr. about other N.S.A.I.D's that less expensive and less toxic. This drug is not habit-forming so you are safe in that area. Hope the information is useful. Peace

toradol is an anti-inflammatory, now it is not like taking 100mg of demorol IV (or 10mg of morphine). I know. But, mix the two and even a kidney stone is a strool through the park.
