Angry Rubber from vial in my syringe

    Maybe a dumb problem....

Somtimes when i stick my needle into my vial's rubber top thingy, it punches a little piece of rubber out, i usually just suck it up with the needle, then squirt it out.

Anybody else have this happen? What am I doing wrong? I really dont want one of these little pieces of rubber to end up 1" into my glute.

    Thanks guys

ive had that problem, just ignore it (or get rid ot it) obviously it wouldnt be intelligent to inject that into your muscle.

lol never thought of that haha, but very true, can def happen. In my opinion is just takes common sense to know that your poking too hard, try poking softer and itll hang instead of swim. lol

That happened to me once. I was using a 21 gauge fill syringe and after I withdrew I looked at it and it had a piece of rubber cap floating in it. Kind of made me nervouse if it had happened before and not noticed it.

    Did I stike a nerve??
Anyways, he could either be using too big of a guage or he might be pushing the needle through in the same spot in the rubber. Either of those could cause pieces to fall.

Change vials or put a new stopper on it. That shouldn't happen.
