is anyone 225lbs or heavier and ripped?

I am just curious if there is anyone on this forum who is 225lbs or heavier and ripped. It seems to me if anyone fit those stats depending on his height probably really knows his stuff!

It's easy to get big and fat but big and ripped takes knowledge, dedication, consistancy, right supplemention and time.

P.S. I have been dieting down before i do my next mass cycle so right now I am 5 ft 7 in, 170lbs, arms 17 3/4, max bench? i did 325 twice on my last set.

yes there most definetely are members here that fit that description. However knowledge and progress have nothing to do w/weight. Check the pic forum for Carlos E. He obviously has great progress and is big, but is not 225 lbs. Thats just a number. Hell lee priest doesn't even compete @ 225.

believe it or not ,people at that weight arent the only one who know their stuff just because of what they have accomplished.i personnaly know several guys who have coaches or personal trainers that are huge because all the geuss work is done for them. all they have to do is do it.

this is mostly curiosity but i have to say i would put more stock in the advice of someone who has the knowledge and applies. There are alot of people who say they know how to get big but if they know why arent they.

as long as i can remember i wanted to be huge! and not until recently could i justify steroid use because of my religion. After much studying i am coming off the mission field. Now i am hoping to finally achieve a dream that wasnt possible before. I know it will take many more years but its worth.

lee priest may not compete at 225 but he is also 5ft 5in.

I wish I were ripped... down to 236 calipers are saying 17%. I may have to diet lower than 230 to hit 14% (to the diet forum )

Now at 205 , 9.0% bodyfat can see all my abs and they are splitting below the below button for 8 pack. I think at 220-225 I would lose the definition and it would take a hell of alot to jump up 15-20 lbs. There are a ton of gear heads that just want to be big weather its fat or not. ????????? I'm still lost on that one.

Well...then you wouldn't put alot of stock in the advice of William Llewelln or Dan Duchaine....both of whom never got too big in their bodybuilding careers....

Yet ...both (arguably) seem to know what they are talking about....

(P.S. I'm your height and 40lbs heavier, with single digit Bf% year round...but that doesn't mean you should listen to me, necessarily)

O dont i love genetics, im six feet tall, weigh 207 and am 8% bodyfat right now. Only done one cycle, which im currently running right now but ive always been able to gain lean muscle without it. the only thing was that being taller it looked like i was getting cut instead of looking bigger. SUCKS but o well.

This I doubt. At this level you could be in the pro ranks in 2-4 years.

Its about the size and symmetry.
Kris Dim, Craig Richardson, and Richard Jones competed in the Olympia under 215.

Bro, that statement alone shows that you still have a lot to learn. And the number one factor in every single persons size is their genetics. Genetics plays an even bigger role than drugs in bodybuilding.
Never base someones knowledge on their stature.

True to a certain extent. IF you have the correct knowledge; i.e. nutrition, recovery, and training, and apply it, then i believe with enough will power one can overcome his genetic shortcomings. There are pros who didnt have the best genetics and successfully overcame them.
